The transnational meeting of the European CoVE Care about IT project, coordinated by Apro Formazione in collaboration with ASL CN2 and T4Med, took place from April 14 to 16, 2026.
Over the course of three days, partners from the Netherlands, Finland, and Estonia were welcomed to Italy by the project partners, participating in a comprehensive program of meetings and visits hosted at the Alba Accademia Alberghiera, the Michele and Pietro Ferrero Hospital, and the DIG421 Foundation.
The alignment on ongoing activities allowed participants to discuss the development of microcredentials dedicated to training social care and IT professionals to support the digitization process in the healthcare and social care sector. Among these, the one focused on specific applications of artificial intelligence stands out; the first course for social care workers in this area was launched at the end of March at the Apro Healthcare division.
The partnership also had the opportunity to visit the LABSI simulation lab, dedicated to the continuing education of healthcare personnel.
An intense and productive tour that concluded with a pleasant cultural and culinary experience to appreciate the region’s finest offerings, further strengthening the spirit of collaboration that drives the project.
The meeting proved to be an important opportunity for international collaboration, serving to strengthen dialogue among the partners and to share approaches, experiences, and best practices on a strategic topic such as digital innovation in the social and healthcare sector.
