The year 2020 of Apro International

This year has been full of moments of crisis and profound revolutions. In this scenario full of uncertainties an important part of our activities has disappeared: the international mobility of students. Unfortunately, on this kind of activities, we are still waiting for the conditions to be in place to travel and carry out internships abroad in complete safety.

In spite of the stop to mobility, this year Apro Formazione has conducted many activities at European level. We hereby want to keep you updated on the projects we are coordinating and on the new international prospects that have been opened.

The most important news are the V2V Pilot Project, the EfVET thematic group on tourism TTT and the DTAM Sectoral Alliance.

The project VET TO VET - Capacity Building for Western Balkans (V2V) will lead us to work over the next 36 months on the modernization of the vocational education and training systems in the Western Balkans. Together with our European partners from the Netherlands, Finland, Slovenia and Croatia, we will support five vocational schools from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Montenegro.

Apro Formazione, together with the organizations Sedu (Finland) and Landstede Groep (Netherlands), will coordinate in the next 3 years a thematic team on tourism within the EfVET network. The thematic group will be launched in January 2021 and will involve 26 training providers working in tourism in 7 European countries.

DTAM is one of six European Sectoral Alliances funded in 2020 whose goal is to train young new graduates and upgrade workers in the Advanced Manufacturing (AM) industry sector. In particular, DTAM aims to create mid-to-high level technical profiles capable of managing the future of digital transformation in companies.

New Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership projects have also started. The project i4i - Internship for industry app aims to better organize mobility abroad in the technical/industrial field through the development of an app and a multilingual e-learning platform with innovative courses, guides and manuals. With the project Mi4Mi - Microenterprises management and Entrepreneurial basic skills for Migrants and Refugees we will create educational materials on the theme of entrepreneurship addressed to migrants and refugees, in order to promote their social and economic inclusion in the arrival countries.

In addition to the projects currently underway, we continue with the projects

iLearn - Mobility and Training for Apprentices www.ilearn-tool.eu on the creation of an app to monitor the learning process of apprentices at school and in the company, the project INCOBOTICS - Ready for Industry 5.0 www.incobotics.eu on the creation of innovative collaborative robotics lessons, the project SdE - Sustainability-driven Entrepreneurship www. sdeproject.eu on the theme of education to sustainable entrepreneurship and the project IMPACT - Immersion in the Cross-border Culinary Heritage www.impactalbacannes.eu that continues after the end of the INTERREG ALCOTRA funding with the activation of the third transnational training course IMPACT in collaboration with the Faculté des Métiers École Hôtelière de Cannes in France.
