European Vocational Skills Week is an annual event where local, regional or national organisations present the best of vocational education and training (VET). European VET Week provides an opportunity to raise awareness of the potential of VET and promote the exchange of information and good practice across Europe and beyond.

European VET week was in its fifth edition this year and, due to the pandemic, it took place 100% online from November 9-13, 2020. The virtual mode allowed many organizations to participate in the rich catalog of events offered.

The main theme, in line with the priorities of the European Commission, was the focus on green and digital transition, on which VET organizations are also called to work in the coming years. In addition to this, we had the opportunity to delve into a key topic for our sector, namely the WBL (Work-based learning) approach.
