APRO Formazione held the final event of the Erasmus + OPENIN project

The European project OPENIN, of which APRO Formazione is a partner since 2016, officially closed with the event on Thursday 21 March.

The event was an opportunity to present the project to teachers and enthusiasts and to deliver training certificates to teachers and students involved in the total 126 hours of training achieved thanks to OPENIN.

After more than 2 years of work, the project partners have developed the two electronic programming courses through the open source platform provided by the project. From the very beginning, the organizations involved in OPENIN identified the best open source solution in Arduino and therefore created a first course for students on this theme and a second one for teachers and employers.

The student course took place in APRO Formazione between June and July 2018. The lessons - held at both APRO buildings in Alba and Canelli - involved more than 40 students for 108 hours of course.

The second was carried out at the Alba building only between November 2018 and January 2019, for a total of 18 hours and 16 teachers and workers involved.

Tested these two types of courses, the innovative didactic materials are now available online on the project website: http://www.openinproject.eu/. In addition to the teaching materials, through the site it is possible to use an Arduino lab at a distance.

"OpenIn - Open Source Applications for Industrial Automation" is a project funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Commission, in the framework of Strategic Partnerships (KA2), and involves - in addition to APRO Formazione – entities from Spain, Portugal and Greece.
