LAIT 4.0: Learning Advanced Industrial Technologies 4.0 to upgrade the skills of VET teachers as drivers of innovation in SMEs 2016 - 2018

The LAIT 4.0 project allows Apro Formazione to develop its concept of professional training 4.0 in collaboration with partners from Spain, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Lithuania. The industrial revolution 4.0 must be understood by schools and integrated into the educational offer.

The LAIT 4.0 project aims to:

1) to integrate the innovations introduced by the industry 4.0 into the educational offer, through specific training for teachers;

2) carry out company check-ups, to assess the degree of digital maturity of companies and to define how they could approach becoming companies 4.0;

3) create and make available in 5 languages a guide with suggestions to accompany companies step by step towards the application of the 4.0 paradigm.

The teachers of Apro Formazione were trained by the Tekniker Fundación of Eibar (Spain), one of the main European technological centers, in order to acquire the necessary knowledge to develop innovative educational activities in schools and companies. Thanks to the project, the teachers of Apro Formazione support companies in the analysis of their degree of technological development and develop innovative training modules on the 4.0 industry.
